Little Bay - Farringdon - another visit to this fab restaurant - service was great - lamb was requested pink and came in as well done - was sent back and redone and my guest said it was the best lamb ever - duck was great ass usual.

We enjoyed our visit to Little Bay, Farringdon. There is a lively Bohemian atmosphere, just right for an end of week meal out. The menu is interesting and very cheap. One wonders how some other restaurants charge such exhorbitant prices for inferior food. All the waiters we had were friendly and chatty-- a real bonus when one is out with one's wife of thirty eight years and when one has said virtually all there is to say to each other!! We shall certainly go back,.

I knew Little Bay was a bit odd - when we walked in, I didn't know if that was going to be a good thing. It's really dark and there is also a buffet, which I equate with bad hotels. But once your eyes get accustomed to the dark and you are welcomed by the friendly staff, it's quirkiness is suddenly a very good thing. The decor is brilliant and the staff just lovely. And the food was surprisingly good - really tasty, well cooked food with an adventurous menu and extremely reasonable pricing.

LIttle Bay is a gem of a restaurant, easily missed from the outside. I really enjoyed our meal here which was very reasonable without any deal. Great choices on the menu as well as specials on the board. We paid about £45 for a two-course meal with wine and coffee...we couldn't physically fit in any desserts as we were just too full. There were a lot of staff working in the restaurant which meant service was very efficient and friendly too. Will definitely go back.

2nd time back at Little Bay, Farringdon and it didn't disappoint. Food and service were great as usual, though a little warm where we were in the basement level. Love the quirkiness.

We ate at Little Bay Farringdon on a Tuesday evening. There was the choice of a la carte menu or a buffet and between us we tried both. The food was very good and very reasonable in price too.

Great food at the Little Bay, especially the buffet for £8 - great salad and fish. Will be returning soon!

Despite the drab location, your spirits rise on entering .Quirky and amusing decor . Food was well cooked and presented and amazing value - main courses for £5.95 almost unbelievable. The most expensive was sea bass at £12.95 but my companion voted it the best he'd had. Decent wine at around £16. I'd certainly try this again - perhaps another location.Minor complaint was that toilets were difficult to find in the barely-lit downstairs with no visible signage.

Little Bay - Farringdon. I dined here with 7 others. The decor is a bit like journey to Atlantis - even the tables are funky with art prints and gold leaf. The staff were attentive and even managed to accompany my change of side dish. Every1 said their meals were delicious, and most of us had puddings too. The meals are so cheap that you can afford to have all 3 courses if you want. Our bill came to £100, with most of us having alcoholic drinks and puddings with main meal. House white wine 5*

Little Bay is a real cheap eat. Dine before 7pm & you pay £2.25 for starters, £5.25 mains. Real value for money; the food is better than what you would pay for. But they are neither stand outs nor exciting dishes. Crab in a choux bun didn't have fresh crab flavour, goat cheese soufflé was pleasant, the huge burger was passable, duck breast was ok but the pastry element was heavy & soggy. Tiramisu was overly sweet; the coffee & Marsala undetectable. Still, it's hard to complain at these prices.
