Having travelled and lived in India I'm fussy about my curry but I will definately be visiting Mezbaan again. Amazing food and friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Very reasonable prices and good service.

Food good and appreciated by my Bangladeshi friends however the chef was rather too liberal with chilli and peppers which caused some dishes to be less tasty. The absence of alcohol on menu could be a problem for some.

Mezbaan in Edinburgh is great. We had quick, efficient service to get us in and out in time for us to see a play afterward at the nearby King's Theatre. Excellent Naan!

There was an issue with the booking which is diffcult to deal with when we are 12 people. The staff were very friendly and did their best to accommodate us. It did however mean that we had a long wait for our food. Food well flavoured but a bit spicy.

Mezbaan in Edinburgh is not your typical Indian Restaurant. The ambience is more like a little lunchtime cafe, but the staff excellent and very friendly. The food is absolutely wonderful. The South Indian food is bursting with a real fusion of different flavours, and not as heavy or oily as other Indain meals. Our 3 course meal from the standard menu ws £20 pp. - great value.

At first glance, Mezbaan really doesn't look like anything special, and could really do with a lick of paint and some new furniture. However, the food is absolutely lovely. We ordered a range of starters, main courses and sides and enjoyed every single thing. The restauarant is obviously very popular as there wasn't a spare table in sight. And we loved the fact that it's a BYO! The toilets really do need to be sorted out though...
