Went to Cedar Manor Restaurant on the weekend and it was lovely. The owners were really nice, friendly and attentive. Food was very nicely presented also.

A thoroughly enjoyable experience. Try the local beer. Duck cooked to perfection. Very intimate atmosphere with very personal service from the owners.

Cedar Manor Hotel, I took my fiance as part of her birthday present. The location was fantastic and easy to find. On arrival we were greated in a friendly manor and advised of the house red wich was very good. The restaurant and ambience was perfect for the occasion and the dinning area was classy in it's decor and lighting. The staff were professional and friendly and the food menu was seasonal and refreshing without being heavy. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening and would recommend it to anybody.

Fantastic place. Food was great and beautifully presented. Service was like stepping back in time when customers were valued. From the first, helping with coats to the last, time to chat after the meal. Will deffinately go again and recomend to friends.

The food was fantastic with great service. The food was brought to us in perfect timing and allowed for you to be able t finish the next course with out feeling like you were being ruched. The after dinner coffe was fantastic to be able to sit in the lounge area and relax after the meal also.

The Cedar Manor is literally a hidden gem in Windermere. From arrival to departure the hospitality was impeccable it actually felt like going to friends for dinner (the fact that it was a quiet out of season monday night may have helped).The holtel is presently undergoing some improvement work and we were lucky enough to have a small private guided tour of the fabulous renovated bedrooms. It would be great to add an overnight stay to a exquisite meal. The Lamb was the best I have ever tasted.

We visited the Cedar Manor Hotel whilst on holiday in Windermere in the lake district. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed, with a smart casual dress code. The menu had a choice of around seven dishes for each course with a three course dinner costing around £35 per head. All food was good, and my wife said the lemon tart was one of her favourite dishes ever! I would definately say this restuarant is worth a visit.
