What a gem to find in busy London. On a quiet street in a village type atmosphere. Great food too.

The Contented Vine is Pimlico is a great local restaurant. You'd never know if was there unless you knew the area. The food was a really good quality and full of seasonal items, the wine list was varied and full. The vibe is relaxed and comfortable. I will defintiely go back.

To celebrate moving to Pimlico, I took my parents to the Contented Vine for a quiet dinner. Clearly frequented mainly by locals, it had a warm, relaxed atmosphere. The menu was enjoyably limited - what they do, they do well. I had the goats cheese souffle followed by pork belly with deliciously crisp crackling. Within context, this is a great little find and I'll go again. However if you are looking for an event restaurant, I wouldn't go to Pimlico just to dine here.

It was fine, and the food was tasty. Lacked the atmosphere to encourage me to make going back a priority, but would have no problems going again either.

The Contented Vine in Pimlico is not much to look at from the outside and a bizarre red velvet curtain entrance makes you wonder what you're walking it to, but once inside you're properly in the heart of a locals' local. Reasonably priced, well made standard food with the occasional innovative dish and an interesting attached wine list.

Contented Vine is super although a bit far out in Pimlico. Good food, not a huge choice but lovely and tasty and fresh and about £50 for 2 with starter, main & a glass of wine each so not bad value. Would be a good supper choice too.

Contented Vine Pimlico On arrival found an extremely limited range of soft drinks ie. 2xjuices +coke. The menu was a little unbalanced particularly as far as starters were concerned. As a result only a few of us had a starter. We were 11 and everyone found a main course which was satisfactory. Again not many had a dessert. Service was good. Wine a bit on the expensivee sidee

The Contented Vine in SW1 is as its name suggests an unpretentious local Bistro. On our recent visit, my guest and I were not particularly hungry and chose to have only one course. The service was excellent but as only two staff were in evidence, I do not know how it would be if there were more tables occupied. Our fish was cooked beautifully and the "House Chardonnay" made a very good accompaniment. All in all, it was everything it purported to be and I would recommend heartily.
