The food here was dissapointing. The lamb shank was overcooked and chewy although my daughter enjoyed her chicken tikka masala. On the plus side the staff were friendly but I doubt we will be returning.

Shezan on a summer Sunday late afternoon was understandably almost empty. And very difficult to park nearby. However, was made worthwhile by the sheer quality of the food, decor and service. Our only gripe was the (not unusual) dubious practice adding of the 12 1/2% service charge to the total BEFORE the 50% off food discount - thus making it (in this case - the full price drinks offset it slightly) a 20% service charge. However, with that rider, would recommend with the offer.

Shazan in Kensington London is a lovely restaurant. Food was good on the whole, and service friendly. The decor is rich and the atmosphere welcoming. The only dissappintment was the fish, not fresh and seemed to be very oily even though it was supposed to be cooked on the tandoor.

Be careful about the cheeky staff trying to give you a cheap bottle of wine instead of the one you actually ordered!
