Went to the Mole and Chicken for the first time this weekend. Exactly what we have been looking for in this area, a lovely welcoming pub restaurant, good quality food and nice ambience. Shame it was cold and rainy outside otherwise we would have enjoyed a Pimms in the gardens, but we will definitely return. The food was excellent value and all four of us thought it was delicious and really well cooked. Definitely good value, we can't wait to return!

We had lunch at the Mole and Chicken on Tuesday 17th August to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The duck salad was delicious. Everything was cooked to our liking and we would definitely recommend.

Second time to the Mole and Chicken in Easington and found everything of very high standard. Great location/views good atmosphere, good service (albeit rather fast with not much time between courses to chat), fantastic food and a good wine choice. My guest had crab cakes to start and I had lambs kidney on toast. Both were divine. I had Sirloin and my guest had the Lemon Sole. again both very good, Steak could have been thicker for my personal choice. Will I come again or recommend. Absolutely.

The Mole& Chicken in Aylesbury is a lovely venue with great views over the countryside. The staff were very attentive and efficient despite us being told they had a shortage . We decided on the steak as it is a speciality and it was cooked perfectly with lovely crispy chunky chips . When asking about side orders the waitress said one would be enough as we had the chips as well and she was right, so no push to over order . We had such a nice evening we even asked about the rooms they have .

We returned to the Mole & Chicken for Sunday lunch as a party of 8 for birthday celebrations. The ambience is worth commenting on with the superb views. Our experience was not as good as previously. Service was much slower. Despite making a booking weeks in advance we were squeezed into a narrow space. Contrary to their website there was no Prix Fixe menu. The one offs on the menu appeared freshly cooked but the roasts seemed as if they'd been kept warm for a while.

I booked a table for lunch at this out of the way pub with a fabulous terrace. Alas the English Summer was as fulfilling as its football and we were offerered a table indoors. The food was nicely presented and tasty enough. The low ceilinged pub is a contrast to the expansive views from the garden and terrace. The set menu is good value but the a la carte may provide more generous option and is also well priced.
