The dining room at Bistro Viviers has a retro art deco vibe, and is decorated with stone walls, blackboard menus, fresh flowers and Impressionist paintings – and the chef, David Vague, has created an superb menu specialising in fresh seafood. This restaurant is a old-school Nicoise institution perfect for business lunches and romantic evening meals, and we love the clam fricasée, the grilled blue lobster served with spring vegetables and the jellied oysters. Bistro des Viviers also has an excellent selection of vintage champagnes and French wines at reasonable prices.
