About Graze Restaurant

Many people describe Brighton as London-on-the-sea, and this chic eatery explains why. With an unassuming dove-grey exterior, Graze is a surprising explosion of opulent colour inside. The regency-inspired dining room – with polished wooden floors, chandeliers and flock wallpaper – looks like it belongs in Mayfair or Knightsbridge, and so does the crowd. Attracting a mix of creatives and high-flying executives AA Rosette winning Graze is known for its unique a la carte grazing dishes and seasonal tasting menus. We love the natural Whitstable oysters, roasted wood pigeon with morel risotto and mushroom essence, and beetroot carpachio with walnut and lentil salad. They also do a killer Sunday roast.

Signature dish

Home made black pudding, sage rosti, apples and sherry vinegar reduction

Sample dishes

  • Creamed cauliflower soup
  • Organic slow-cooked pork belly with creamed potato, Graze black pudding and red wine sauce
  • Chilled plum soup, yoghurt sorbet, shortbread

We had a lovely lunch at Graze (Brighton) - the food was lovely and the staff waiter was good with our two boys (4 and 10 months). The fish and chips were superb and the pannacotta was heavenly. Want to go and try the Tasting Menu now without the little ones. Would recommend.

Graze Hove, we went there to celebrate my Mothers birthday who is the most critical person I know, she couldn't fault the food, she had the Gurnard and we had the Steak and the Fish and Chips. The English Champagne from just down the road in Ditchling is also highly recommended.

I chose Graze in Hove to meet a friend that I hadn't seen in 8 years and it didn't fail to disappoint. The decor was chic. Although our waiter seemed a little preoccupied, the manager came to greet us and was lovely! We had the set menu and the white onion soup was especially tasty as was the tender pork belly as a main. There's a good selection of dishes for varying tastes. The only thing lacking was the ambience but not many places are busy in Hove on a weekday lunchtime! Recommended.
