About Mango Room

It's in the heart of hippest Camden Town, with classic ska and reggae wafting through the air, and an excellent vibe from the young, personable crowd who come to drink and meet. You'll be tempted to book the Mango Room before you even hear about the food. It's great - a fusion of traditional and modern Caribbean cuisine. Favourites include curry goat with hot pepper, scallions, pimento and spices, or chargrilled jerk chicken with jerk sauce. Do not miss the mango and banana brulee.

Lunchtime at The Mango Room, Camden: Surprisingly quiet, so little atmosphere and the service could have been rather more attentive. Nonetheless, food is highly recommended. Three of us ate...Goat curry had to be tried and did not disappoint; Seafood casserole very tasty; Lamb rump perfectly prepared and quite superb - all served up with a good selection of regional vegetables and sides. Too full for puds but we will return.

The service was a little slow but was just what was needed at the Mango Room as you end up so full on the good sized portions. As always the food was amazing, the sea bass, plantain and curried goat come highly recommended. The atmosphere was great even on a tuesday night
