Chardon d'or Glasgow . Excellent food and first class service. The scallop starter was delicious and the sea bass main course was outstanding. We are looking forward to our return visit.

We enjoyed our lunch at Brian Maule's in Glasgow. The food was good, but not exceptional in the way that one might expect from the way the restaurant sells itself. Nice belly pork salad starter, and the lamb and the bream were both well done; the white chocolate fondant was OK, but nothing special. (One might compare similar deals at Abode and Hotel du Vin , where there's a little more of an individual touch.) Service was attentive without being intrusive and it's good value.
