Party & group booking

A private gallery overlooking the restaurant comfortably seats up to 30. Excellent vegetarian choices. An expertly chosen, heavily Italian wine list - including half bottles - impresses, as do the capable staff. All desserts – including the gelati - are homemade.

About Incanto

Harrow-on-the-Hill’s former post office is today a first-class Southern Italian restaurant called Incanto. Past the tempting delicatessen is a stylish restaurant where simply-laid tables and leather banquettes are ordered beneath a long skylight and beamed ceiling. A simple, seasonal menu is the kind that leaves you struggling to choose, so ‘wantable’ is everything And so it is; the chefs light, assured touch distinguishable in every delectably fresh dish. We love the homemade eggless chilli cavatelli pasta with borlotti beans and Romanesco broccoli - a traditional recipe from Basilicata. And the scrumptious platter of four dessert. Incanto’s welcome success can surely only continue.

Signature dish

Scottish lobster tagliolini with tomato, saffron and baby basil.

Sample dishes

  • Anguilla affumicata con noci, emulsione di barbabietole e mascarpone al pepperoni (warm salad of Lincolnshire smoked eel with crystallised walnuts, beetroot emulsion and pepper mascarpone), £7.50
  • Vitello bistecca alla florentina, salsa di funghi e noce (chargrilled veal T-bone steak, potato pave, wilted seasonal greens, sauce of porcini, morel mushroom and walnut), £18.95
  • Panna cotta di vaniglia con banane fritti e gelati di noce (vanilla panna cotta, pan-fried banana, pecan nut ice cream), £6.95

Four of us went to Incanto, Harrow on the Hill on satuday night it was a surprise to walk past a Deli counter to get to the restaurant . The staff were very welcoming and friendly and the ambience was relaxing and welcoming, the food was tasty and presented beautifully ,and as an unexpected surprise the staff had noticed we were celebrating a birthday and brought out an ice cream on a plate decorated with Happy Birthday. I am looking forward to going there again and would highly recommend

As always, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Incanto. There are a couple of good Italian restaurants in Pinner but otherwise this is out on its own without competition in the Harrow area. The food is modern without being pretentious and the mackerel (yes mackerel) with greens and a side dish of fried potato somehow managed to elevate ordinary ingredients into something special.
