Party & group booking

If you choose Le Christine for your group event or celebration, your guests will be convinced that you know Paris like the back of your hand. Even with its central location, in the tiny streets of St Germain, Le Christine feels as if it could be a bistro in a medieval village, although a stylish one. The stone walls and rough beams are complemented by crystal, white linen, and smart leather seating. The private room seats up to 60. The menu, too, is traditional, although with smart modern touches. Try starter of French onion soup, main course of noisette of lamb with rosemary sauce, and dessert of memorable assiette gourmande of chocolate. Service is both warm and professional.

About Le Christine

Set in an intimate side street right in the heart of the Left Bank's gallery scene, Le Christine has an almost bucolic air. Redolent of the countryside, this bistro has been retrofitted into an ancient stables and still retains the rough-hewn walls, authentic wooden beams, and charming courtyard, now made chic in the inimitable French style. Like its sister restaurant, Chez Catherine, Le Christine finds a dedicated chef in the kitchen creating a short carte of superb traditional cuisine. Try starter of classic terrine of foie gras, main course of fillet of pan-fried sea bream on mushrooms, and dessert of kiwi soup with green apple sorbet.

Signature dish

Lamb saddle, stewed olives and mash potatoes

Sample dishes

  • Oeuf brouillé à la truffe
  • Saint-Jacques poêlées, vinaigrette à la truffe, mousseline de choux -fleurs.

Le Christine is located in a very trendy, quaint area of Paris, well worth the taxi ride. Me and mum had a very relaxing evening with good food and wine here. Not to pretentious either, some people dressed up and some quite casual. The free glass of bubbly was a quality glass of champagne....

I went to Le Christine for a celebratory meal with my fiance. The food and service were both excellent (we had the 7 course tasting menu with a glass of wine chosen for each course), and we did not feel rushed at all. A lovely meal, and fantastic value.

Very enjoyable evening - would definitely go back. Wines by the glass are so-so, although priced accordingly. Would be nice to have a couple of nicer wines available by the glass.
