Party & group booking

If you find yourself on the Left Bank, particularly near the universities, and have a group to gather, an event to celebrate, an occasion to mark, and you want to keep it both elegant and relaxed, Le Petit Zinc is a fabulous place to choose. The authentic Belle Epoque frontage and decor make it a charming and special setting, while the dining room has quite an intimate feeling. There is a terrace opening onto the dining room, behind the ivy arches. The classic French menu includes starter of escargot in their shells, main course of shoulder of lamb with thyme flower, jus and garlic confit, and pudding of creme brulee with ginger.

About Le Petit Zinc

This St-Germain des Pres landmark continues to thrive as it has done since the turn of the last century. The classic Art Nouveau brasserie style is still elegant, with ivy arches, swooping iron banisters to the mezzanine, ironwork facade, and beautifully lit glass ceiling fanlights. You'll feel as if you're having a real Parisian experience and you are, you are. The menu is classic French. Try starter of wonderful fruits de mer, main course of calves liver meuniere with caramelised salsify and broccoli, and pudding of fantastic 'Saint Germain' ice cream sundae.

Le Petit Zinc is very pleasant venue - attractive decor in the Latin Quarter. Food was perfectly acceptable, though not memorable.

Very accomodating staff, nice busy restaurant and obviously well regarded. Seafood is the speciality and what we sampled was good. Oh - and being in St Germian des pres a great location so plenty of stuff going on in the locale.

This was our third time at Le Petit Zinc. It was very busy and service was a bit slow. Decor is lovely. Food was good - especially the seafood and desserts. Quite pricey given the euro rate at the moment.
