With its buzzing atmosphere and nightly pianist, Le Caprice is an excellent choice for celebratory dinners, business soirees and family meals. The restaurant does not offer set menus but the a la carte is available at all times and caters for vegetarians and vegans. Le Caprice only takes bookings for up to four people.

About Le Caprice

This Green Park institution was a hit when it first opened its doors in 1947 and since then it has remained a favourite amongst London’s dining elite. The interior is similarly timeless, with a warm neutral colour scheme, monochrome photographs, and a popular bar that runs the length of the restaurant to ensure that solo diners or last-minute latecomers have somewhere to perch. Like its sister restaurant, The Ivy, it’s ideal for business lunches, romantic liaisons and special occasions alike. The menu showcases modern European favourites, presented with flair but without fuss, and includes classic dishes like Salmon fishcake with buttered spinach sorrel sauce; Bannockburn rib steak with Béarnaise sauce; and dressed Dorset crab. An extensive wine list and flawless service completes the picture and makes for a truly unforgettable experience.

Le Caprice in London SW1 is a famous & long established venue. The food is of a very high standard and the set menu offers good value. The service was mostly courteous and friendly with just an occasional lapse. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable evening.

Le Caprice was lovely. When we arrived we were given the best seats in the house. I had the beef burger and my mum had the pork. Both were fab!!! and quite reasonable both main course's were under £15. two meals and two glass of house white inc service charge came to less than £50. lovely bar, old school feel and i wondered how many famous people had sat in my chair previously
