On San Sebastian Square, La Hosteria Del Prado is a city centre restaurant with a difference. The dining room, with its dark wood beams, tiled floors and cast iron chandeliers, is straight out of a historic country house. Purchased in the 1940s by La Raza founder Jose Rodriguez Cala, La Hosteria Del Prado is a wonderful showcase for the food of Seville and the surrounding area, a trailblazer on the emerging local produce scene. Ingredients from both land and sea are used to give patrons a taste of the province while in the heart of the city, each dish traditional yet so imaginatively presented it’s almost as if you’re tasting old favourites for the first time.
