Please not that although managed by the Cipriani family, this is not the Harry's Bar.
The perfect setting for a romantic, candlelit dinner, Fortuny Restaurant with its delicately blown glass, precious fabrics and amber mirrors, architectural details reminiscent of St Mark’s Dome and magnificent views of the lagoon is one of Venice’s most incredible dining rooms. Part of the celebrated Hotel Cipriani, the Fortuny Restaurant boasts a terrace set in the lush, flowered garden, celebrated for its year round colourful display, complete with antique fountain and two lagoon terraces for romantic summer evenings. Overseen by executive chef Renato Piccolotto Fortuny’s food is simple, fresh and perfectly prepared with pastas and pastries made on site. Easily accessed by private launch from the Doge’s Palace, Fortuny Restaurant is a truly special place to dine.

We had lunch at the Fortuny Restaurant, Hotel Cipriani, Venice to celebrate a special birthday. It was very expensive BUT worth every penny. From being picked up by the hotel motorboat, met at the dock on arrival and then shown to our table the whole experience was fantastic. The food was very good but one fish course was overcooked which must have been (or should have been) obvious to the chef. The service was excellent and the staff were very welcoming and attentive.

The Fortuny restaurant was everything we expected it to be and more. The setting was breath taking, the service impecable and the food was to die for. Yes it is a "special occasion" place and the prices reflect that (2 cocktails, bottle of wine and 3 courses 340 euros) but it is most definately worth it

We dined on the Terrace at the restaurant at Hotel Cipriani,Venice last week as the first night of our honeymoon. The setting is amazing, through top table we asked for a table overlooking the lagoon, and we were not dissappointed, the waiter had our details and the service was superb. The food was also superb (in fact the best sea-bass I have ever had!) so combined it was a perfect evening. I would highly recommend for special occasions.
