Just across the river from the Jardines del Guadalquivir you’ll find Casa Manolo Leon, a regal restaurant with a smart feel. Set within an elegant and historic Andalusian house dating back to the 19th century you can expect a wonderful dining experience from start to finish. Inside dining rooms are carefully decorated, one might be the perfect aqua of a Tiffany gift box, another boldly striped in gold and cream, antique pieces complete the look – you really could be in another time entirely. During warm summer evenings candles flicker throughout a gorgeous Mediterranean courtyard, the ideal place to enjoy tasty and fresh traditional Spanish food, especially fish and seafood from nearby Huelva.

The location is a little off the beaten track but well worth looking for. Set in a beautiful and traditional building with lovely terrace (too hot to sit on during the summer days) and a intimate and delightful dining room. The staff were very friendly and not at all stuffy despite this being a favourite with the great and good of Seville. Food was all devine (went with the reccomendation of the waiter). Wine delicious and amazingly good value.

Casa Manolo Leon, Seville Slightly frightening area - full of falling down buildings etc. Service good but food not good at all. Four of us and none had good food although pretty expensive.
