Very personal friendly atmosphere, unassuming, food was very good, good value for money

The service was incredibly slow (1.5 hours until the main course finally arrived), and the food had not been worth waiting for, not that it was bad, but it was nothing to write home about. They'd run out of most deserts, and when the coffee finally arrived, had to go and get milk and sugar myself, otherwise the coffee would have been cold. Overall a bit disppointing.

Interesting cuisine, good atmosphere, thoroughly enjoyed.

Tuttons has reasonable food, good quantity, marginally tasty, but fundamentally paying for location (borders right to touristy Covent Garden market). A so-called Optional service charge of 15% is added to the printed bill - how are going to argue against that, ask for the bill to be reprinted again without the charge - basically from that point of view a rip-off, though overall in terms of amount of food reasonable. Not bad, but won't go again.
