Good value at Banyan on Thames with the TT deal. Menu has a mix of cuisines which I found slightly disconcerting. Staff friendly and good. Starters of Thai fish cakes and chicken tikka were very good, mexican chilli beef and indian style fish and chips were enjoyable. Good wine list with a reasonable choice of wines available by the glass. Wonderful setting.

Fantastic meal at Trader Vics - we were bowled over with the quality of the meal, and the value with the TT deal. The Lomi Lom salad (marinated salmon) for starter was exquisite with a perfect mix of flavours. My tuna steak came rare as requested and was great - again an interesting mix of flavours. The desert sampler was an ideal choice- light, tasty and not too filling. Service was very attentive and friendly, staff keen to talk and informative about the chain, the cocktails, etc.

Very enjoyable meal at Foxtrot Oscar and good value with the TT deal. That said, with water, wine and sides we did manage to run up a considerable bill! Choice is fairly limited on the set menu - 3 starters, 3 mains and 3 deserts. Food and service was good, relaxed and friendly.

Met with an old colleague for a quick lunch and the reasonably priced three course set menu. Staff were friendly and moved us from a window table to a side table so we wouldn't be gawked at by tourists. My polenta and meatballs main course was a little monchrome but flavoursome and the deserts were excellent.

Soskei is an amazing find and all due to Toptable. We sat at the counter beside the food preparation area and watched in awe as the sashimi, carrot flowers, etc were prepared. Talking to the young chef, he told us that he had trained for 10 years in Japan for this! The food was superb - the fish was excellent and I will dream about the duck for main course for a long time. The set meal provides quantity as well as quality - you won't go hungry. Absolutely fantastic value with the TT deal.

As Korean food was a new exerience for us, we went for the great value set menu at Cah-Chi. Lots of tasty food and new flavours to enjoy. Best to be hungry! Service was fantastic - friendly and attentive but not overpowering. Staff seemed genuinely keen that you should enjoy your meal, worked really well as a team, smiling and laughing as they talked to each other. Restaurant was full making for a great atmosphere. BYO is a real bonus.
