Nice place but food not up to London standards. Wouldn't especially go back

The Great House

Great House at Gills Green nr Hawkhurst was surprisingly busy for a Tues lunchtime. The bar area is well decorated and the staff were attentive. There is the option to sit either there or in the restaurant for lunch. The latter is spacious. Fantastic food, couldn't be faulted, lamb shank and duck got particular thumbs-ups. Good value compared to many gastro pubs closer to London

Kama Sutra

Kama Sutra offered one of the best curries I've had outside Leicester. Excellent ambience, good choice on the menu and very attentive service. Would return if back in town. Excellent value with this offer

(this venue has been removed from our records)

We dined early at Marco Pierre White's/Frankie's Express Putney Bridge but were nonetheless the only customers in the venue between 6pm and 7.20pm! Very attentive service as a result. Excellent food, especially the crispy duck and the tiramisu. I imagine the decor works better when the restaurant is fuller. 12.5% optional service charge was deserved
