We say…

Kensington Park Road’s Rossopomodoro is perfectly situated to cater to tourists, visitors and locals alike. Part of a well respected chain, Rossopomodoro is a contemporary, attractive take on the neighbourhood Neapolitan restaurant with good food, friendly service and more than pleasant surroundings. With hot red hints the décor is stylish, clean and modern while the buzz from couples, groups of friends and office workers gives the dining room a welcoming vibe. The wood fired pizzas are straight from original Neapolitan recipes, cooked and served fresh with simple flavour combinations which allow the ingredients, imported fresh from Italy, to speak for themselves. In a Notting Hill flooded with overcomplicated eateries and pretentious menus, Rossopomodoro is a breath of fresh air

Sample dishes

  • ‘A tiella (typical Neapolitan mixed fritters: Montanare, panzarotti, palle di riso, mozzarella in carrozza, scagliozzi di polenta al basilico), £6.00
  • O spaghetto (spaghetti from Gragnano with fresh cherry tomatoes, fresh
  • Bufalone (buffalo milk ice cream topped with red fruit sauce and whipped cream), £3.90

Yum!! The Buffalo mozarella pizza... amazing! Everything else (service, value, ambience) nothing to-die-for ... but overall the experience was made great by the pizza!

The appetizers were great but the pizzas were very watery and less than average. The service was good, although we were shocked that they were out of any sparkling wine and liqueours the friday before christmas week! The prices are quite reasonable, and it makes for a reasonable night out.
