Party & group booking

Very pretty restaurant set in what was formerly the summer ballroom of Holland House, now a superb restaurant amidst the green oasis that is Holland Park, it's a lovely venue to hold a special occassion such as a wedding reception. Depending on the number of people, dine in the gorgeous main dining room, or for a more private affair, hire the mezzanine area. Choose from a reduced a la carte menu for up to 12 people, set menu for more, or canape menu for a more informal gathering.

We say…

Very pretty restaurant set in Holland Park, one of London's most attractive park areas. Since it's opening, Belvedere has been popular with both locals and outsiders from other areas of London. The Belvedere is particularly popular for Sunday lunch - possibly because with all that greenery you can kid yourself that you've escaped from the wicked City. A complete 'makeover' in April 2000 updated the decor and the cuisine. What's cooking: Parfait of foie gras en gelée, toasted poilâne; Confit of salmon, cauliflower cream Maison Prunier to start, and for mains - Daube of Aberdeen Angus à l'ancienne pomme purée, garnish provençale; Grilled tuna with aubergine caviar sauce vierge au basilic or perhaps Poulet noir with morilles, sauce Albufeira.

Signature dish

Roast Goosenargh duck breast, Koffmann cabbage, ratte potatoes, port and plum jus.

Sample dishes

  • Caramelised pork belly, black pudding and apple sauce, £8.95
  • Roasted monkfish, smoked garlic mash, girolles, sauce Lie de Vin, £19.50
  • Harlequin mousse, orange sorbet, chocolate sauce, £7.50
