We say…

A very well known restaurant that has been providing good value cooking for the last 30 years. The interior is tastefully decorated and the tables are not too crammed together so that you are forced to listen to your neighbours' conversation, whether you want to or not. All this is good news for the many politicians who frequent (it's within reach of the Divisional Bell). What's cooking? Original Italian cuisine, in particular specialities from Tuscany. Salads are made with ingredients from the owner Sandro's own garden and fresh fish is delivered twice a day from Brighton.

We had a lovely meal at Gran Paradiso, very authentic and friendly service. We enjoyed everything we ate. We also bumped into some friends on the way out who enjoyed it to. I thought it was well priced and good quality food.

It's a popular Italian eaterie with the local work brigade and tourists from the nearby hotels in Victoria. It's honest, friendly and ... fine really. No fireworks, very pleasant - we use it as it's the nearest to a decent restaurant near the station! I'm convinced they have a vat of tomato sauce and a vat of cream sauce that fits pasta, fish and white meats!!! Very fond of the place really.
