We say…

toptable Dining Awards 2010 - Runner-up: Best for Value.

Despite the name, Angel Curry Centre is actually a small and perfectly elegant modern Indian. Neither short on competition nor regulars, its success is right where it should be – in the consistency of very good, well-presented food at decent prices. Side and vegetarian dishes are easily up to standard with mains. The other key attraction is being able to bring your own drink with absolutely no corkage charge. Yet there’s no rowdiness, the tables of 30 to 50 year olds causing nothing more than a healthy buzz.

Signature dish

Chicken tikka masala/chicken dupiaza.

As usual, The Angel Curry Centre did not disappoint. The TT offer & BYO wine makes this a cheap night out

Angel Curry Centre, Islington - very good food and excellent value (poppadoms, starter, main, vege side and rice or naan, all for a tenner). BYOB as well so a really cheap night. Service was ok, maybe a bit slow, but the restaurant was pretty busy. The only real downside was that the place got quite cold with people constantly coming in and out - would recommend the restaurant turn up their heaters!
