We say…

We defy you to walk on by the decadent reds and fairy lights twinkling in the window of The Priory House and not be irresistibly drawn in. The cosy Mediterranean themed interior is all sophisticated dark leather dining booths, natural stone, copper, wood, sumptuous reds and mirrors - perfect for a romantic tête-à-tête, get together drinks with friends, family dinners, long lunches, light dinners … need we go on? In the summer months The Priory House restaurant’s big draw-card is the lovely French doors which fling open to reveal a patio for alfresco dining. An in-depth and extremely well priced tapas menu continues the Latin theme, with sharing dishes such as deep fried halloumi and pinenuts, dolcelatte & spinach risotto balls with romesco sauce, Pimientos rellenos and Spanish tortilla. Or head to the bar upstairs and try one of their classic-with-a-twist cocktails, such as the Passionfruit Mojito, Cosmobulitan or a Cuban side car.

Nice place-nice atmosphere and music-waiter was single handed so service was not exactly fast but ok-although it was not the best tapas in town the food was good and tasty : ) Loved the aubergine gratin and the chorizo rozario !!

Good food as always. Was surprised that the Kitchen closes at 10pm on Friday, felt a little rushed to order as soon as we sat down. Needless to say, the food was solid and tasty as always. Definitely a place to go to if you want a good meal and little fuss.

The food is scrupmtious - proper and almost authentic Spanish Tapas. The service is good. The ambience not exactly full of life on a thursday night but I've hear differently of a weekend. Quite pricey for a cheap and cheerful, but worth it if you want good Tapas.
