For first class French food in an elegant but unpretentious setting, few come close to Daniel. The beautiful restaurant and private Bellecour Room are popular with well-dressed diners celebrating business deals and anniversaries or hosting pre-wedding rehearsal dinners. The Bellecour Room seats 80 and the main dining room can accommodate up to 120 diners, while the lounge – with space for 54 guests – is perfect for drinks receptions.

The menu, which changes to reflect the bounty of each season, includes dishes like black sea bass with Syrah sauce; butter poached abalone; and the stunning duo of dry aged beef. We visited Daniel whilst on holiday in NY and had a fabulous meal. We had originally requested the lounge area, but we ate in the dining rooom after it was recomended. The ambience and decor were superb and we were pleased that we decided to relocate. The food was stunning and a particular highlight was the venison. The portions are also substantial. Overall well worth its top billing.

From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty. The staff were very attentive and knowledgeable about the food on the menu. The ambience was exceptional and the positioning of the tables gave the impression that the customers needs were first and foremost. The food was delicious and the flavours certainly complimented each other. The price of the wine was reasonable as you could pick a price range to suit your budget. Price good value for quality.

DANIEL - MANHATTAN NY Gosh, I don't know quite where to start as EVERYTHING about this restaurant, from the food, dining room, staff, ambience, creativity, attention to detail was absolutely faultless. It was truly a WONDERFUL ceremony and the epitome of how a restaurant of this calibre should be run. In order to get into the restaurant, I opted for dinner at 17.30 and was pleasantly surprised how many guests were in attendance. Thank you for making my last night in NY sssoooo special.... 10/10
