The British have been captivated by the charm of a greenhouse for over one hundred years, offering an enduring design concept that allowed a perfect balance between the interior and exterior. Tucked into a Mayfair Mews, The Greenhouse has been a favourite with locals and savvy Londoners for over twenty five years. You must try the potato-topped scallops on pepperonata, basil and capers or the roast rump of lamb on sweet potatoes and smoked aubergine. Lunch has a corporate crowd, dinner is more relaxed, both are busy. The Greenhouse has one of the largest wine lists in the UK, featuring over 2,500 fantastic bins.

The Greenhouse, true to it's name, has an understated and beautiful botanically themed décor. The meal was entirely deserving of it's Michelin star rating - each course was a carefully constructed complement of flavours and textures, including the complementary amuse-bouches and chocolates. The service was impeccable and the sommelier's recommendation was perfectly suited to the meal.

The Greenhouse is set in a beautiful location in the heart of Mayfair on Hays Mews, and though there are some fairly extensive building works going on nearby, the meal was unaffected by the noise and disruption. A Bellini swiftly appeared on our tables and we picked our three courses from a menu on which nuts were prevalent. We were given a substantial round of Amuse Bouches before our meal came, and once we had eaten, we were given a bunch of homemade chocolate surprises. All in all delicious!

A really enjoyable lunch and such fantastic value with toptable special offer. The food was perfection, so beautifully presented and a great combination of wonderful flavours. Would certainly return.
