    We say…

This cosy branch of the popular Thai Square chain does exactly what it says on the tin. A forever-busy Thai restaurant on a small street connecting Wardour and Dean Streets, it's more often than not packed with jolly crowd too busy chatting, eating and having a good time to care much about the rather basic décor. A consistently good menu is based on an affordable assembly of pan-fried dishes, curries and reliable noodle dishes such as pad Thai and a particularly tasty gang mussamun (with potatoes and peanuts). Highlights of a strong veggie selection include a sweet n' satisfying toa hoo pad khing (pan fried bean curd). Service is genuinely friendly. Top choice for a quick good value bite.

    Sample dishes

    • Chicken satay, marinated and char-grilled served with spicy peanut sauce, £4.25
    • Gang kiew wan (choice of beef, chicken or prawn green curry uses fresh green chilli and is cooked in coconut milk with pea aubergines, lime leaves and sweet basil leaves), £5.95
    • A selection of desserts is available.

Awesome place, need to go again soon, I would highly recommend it. The green curry is the best, but you need to try the fishes too. Good for chilled out night with the girls or family.

One of my favourite Thai restaurants in central London. Consistently reliable, good food, excellent service, and a broad vegetarian menu. And at less than £25 a head, great value for money.

Average, good value food which is a bargain compared to other restaurants in the area. The curry tends to be on the watery side and lacking in flavour. The rice and noodle dishes are better choices here. Overall, not a bad place for a quick, cheap bite in Soho but there are better places for romantic or gourmet dining.
