    Party & group booking

The main restaurant of Bhatti's two storeys can seat a hundred guests. Beneath is the slightly smaller private room which fits from 40 to 60. Parties of up to 20 can order from the a la carte, while larger groups are offered reduced a la carte, set, canapé, and buffet menus. There is an in-house bar - it catches the eye as soon as you walk in - but it isn't suitable for pre or post meal drinks. Open seven days a week.

    We say…

Covent Garden ain't short of good Indian restaurants, and Bhatti is amongst the best. After all, it's been recommended by Egon Ronay. Housed in an historic 17th century listed building, it is pleasantly bright inside where spotlights highlight the shiny blonde wooded floor and chairs. After a friendly welcome comes the best bit - the menu. There's nothing esoteric or scary on it, just a familiar palate-pleasing list of the dishes you know and love - chicken tikka masala, jalfreizi, vindaloo, madras, lamb rogan ghosh...Pretty much everything is good value; a bottle of house wine costs just under a tenner. Whether a curry lover or curry virgin, Bhatti is a great place to explore Indian cuisine.

    Sample dishes

    • Murgh tikka (boneless chicken marinated and cooked in a charcoal clay oven), £3.75
    • King prawn masala, £14.95
    • A selection of desserts is available.

Not the best we have had and only good value with the 50% deal. We both had a chicken dish which was maybe not their best offerings. Good portions, nice interior and good service but we wouldnt rush back.
