We say…

One of a family of worldwide restaurants, Patara brings sophisticated Thai dining to Soho’s Greek Street. Tastefully decorated with plenty of atmosphere thanks to subdued lighting and flickering candles, it’s ideal for a romantic dinner for two. And don’t be concerned that it’s all about to be spoiled with unimpressive plastic fodder. Instead Patara’s menu is innovative and delicious with Thai traditions in tact.

Great restaurant, good service, although we did get a waitress who couldn't understand what we were wanting to order and we ended up with a couple of dishes that weren't quite what we had asked for. Nevertheless, the food, ambience and setting were great and did not begrudge paying a little more than I would normally would. I would highly recommend this place for lovers of Thai cuisine.

Had a delicious meal at Patara - the food was excellently prepared and presented and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening (apart from a table of shrieking women at one end of the room, but that was hardly the restaurant's fault! Once they left, the ambience improved considerably!!) Not a particularly cheap meal (we spent about £40 per head including wine) but the food was such good quality that it was worth paying the extra. Would highly recomend.
