Blueprint Café located in London’s Design Museum offers spectacular views of the London skyline from Tower Bridge, the Tower of London and the Swiss Re building in the West, sweeping across and along the Thames to Canary Wharf in the East. As you would expect of a restaurant in a museum devoted to design, aesthetics are important here. The dining room at this riverside restaurant is light, simple and unfussy and its interior provides an ideal backdrop to the Blueprint Café’s acclaimed European cooking.

Really enjoyed our meal at the Blueprint Cafe on Saturday night. The view is stupendous and the deal of two course for £15.00 was great value. Starter of pork rillettes and baby cornichons and a bream dish with mussels in a green sauce to follow. Excellent service with very attentive front of house who seemed genuinely interested in our input. Would definitely recommend.

I went to the Design Museum at Shad Thames at the end of last year. I had thought that it would be packed with Christmas parties but was pleasantly surprised. We had a set menu which had a good selection for each course and was good value. The service was fine.

Lovely Saturday lunch with friends from outside the capital. The food was fab with a very varied and tempting menu. We all loved it. Thank you!
